"CROSSROADS BLUES" is a musical movie based on the legends of the black guitarist Robert Johnson, died mysteriously in 1938. It's a matter of a PACT WITH THE DEVIL. One night, at a crossroads, a man forces fate and sells his soul to the Devil in exchange for glory and knowledge. The fame arrives fast, but it comes with a curse. Robert Johnson dies after recording 29 songs. The legend says there must be a thirtieth piece. Whoever will find it will become immensely rich and will release... My visit to all three of the graves/markers for Robert Johnson near Greenwood, Ms. On Friday, August 12th, 1938, Robert and David 'Honeyboy' Edwards were booked to play at a dance in Three Forks, near Greenwood, Mississippi. Robert was apparently showing too much interest in somebody's wife or girlfriend. The next night, the jealous husband had his friends give Robert some poisoned whiskey. Another eyewitness, Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller), claims that Robert was openly displaying... Topic: Robert Johnson Mississippi Delta Blues Gravesite

Cuenta la leyenda que en los polvorientos cruces de caminos de las llanuras de EEUU. Los bluesman del Delta del Mississippi, hombres solitarios de los campos de algodón, aguardaban allí hasta medianoche. The music that was created, at least in part, by Dockery farm workers a century ago continues to influence popular culture to this day. It was a welcome diversion from their hard lives and a form of personal expression that spoke of woes and joys alike in a musical language all its own.
